CBA-NT Annual Family Barbeque
The CBA-NT reminds all members of the Law Society and of the Judiciary of their invitation to the Annual Family Barbeque. Join National President Kevin Carroll, QC, National Treasurer-Elect Annette Horst and her husband Brian, and Alberta President Gillian Marriott, QC, for an evening with good food and great company.
The event is free of charge and open to all members and their families. The barbeque begins at 6:00pm at Fred Henne Territorial Park (Yellowknife, NT). We look forward to seeing you there.

Lieutenant-Colonel James MacMillan, Deputy Judge Advocate (Yellowknife), returns to the Law Society to discuss the rationale and framework of military justice. Learn about recent changes to the court martial system, the nature of summary trial systems (both inquisitorial and adversarial), and the reason for a military justice system. This seminar will be of interest to all lawyers.
