NWT COURTS
Scheduling Pre-Trial Conferences

Lawyers are reminded that Pre-Trial Conference letters sent by the Manager of the Supreme Court Criminal Registry are time sensitive and require a response within thirty (30) days of the letter’s date.

Lawyers are also reminded that reasonable time frames for scheduling conferences are required. Please note that dates exceeding two months into the future are not accepted. To ease the process of scheduling conferences, lawyers are asked to provide multiple time frames available for booking. Pre-Trial Conferences typically last an average of 15 minutes.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
